During a recent visit to Japan for the World Bonsai Convention, I had the opportunity to visit Mr. Kimura’s bonsai garden. This of course, was a chance I did not pass up on. Here a few shots from his garden.
What I found most impressing was the overall maturity of all the work. Even recentely formed rock plantings had a sense of age over them. It is clear that a lot of preparation goes into the trees. Even young forests are planted with well-developed trees.
It seems Beautiful garden. Beautiful pictures. Thanks for great share.
It’s open for everybody this garden or how can you schedule a visit?
Hi Janet, unfortunately, it is a closed garden. I happened to get an invite because I knew someone who knew someone who works there.
