Fagus sylvatica – Summer 2014

With spring resulting in a good crop of foliage, the main-trunk was cut back. After cutting back the main trunk, the wound was covered with Japanese cut-paste. During summer care was taken to reduce top growth a little, and move energy to the lower branches.
